CBSE Supplementary Exams 2025 Registration Begins by The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the application process for the Class 10 and 12 supplementary exams 2025 starting from May 30, 2025. Students can apply without a late fee until June 17, 2025. Applications will be accepted with a late fee of ₹2000 until June 19, 2025.

The exam fee must be paid online through a debit card, a credit card, or net banking.

If student details are submitted, finalized, and payment is completed by June 17, no late fee will apply. However, if the fee is paid after June 17, the late fee will be charged. No applications will be accepted after the final deadline.

CBSE Supplementary Exams Registration 2025 Begins

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the registration process for the 2025 supplementary examinations for Class 10 and 12. Registrations was started on May 30 and will continue until June 17, 2025. 

Private candidates are required to apply online via the official CBSE website, while regular students must register through their respective schools. The supplementary exams are scheduled to begin on July 15, 2025, offering students an opportunity to improve their scores in subjects they did not pass.

Steps to Register for CBSE Supplementary Exams 2025 

Below, we have provided steps to register for CBSE Supplementary Exams 2025 -

For Private Candidates (Class 10 & 12)

  1. Visit the Official CBSE Website:
    Navigate to cbse.gov.in and click on the “Private Candidate Supplementary Examination 2025” link.

  2. Select Exam Category:
    Choose the appropriate category—Compartment, Improvement, Failure, Additional Subject, or Female/PwD (Delhi).

  3. Enter Previous Exam Details:
    Provide your roll number, school number, center number, and year of the previous examination.

  4. Fill the Application Form:
    Enter personal and academic details, select the subject(s) for the supplementary exam, and upload required documents, including a recent passport-sized photograph and signature.

  5. Pay the Application Fee:
    Use the available online payment options to pay the fee. The fee structure is as follows:

    • India: ₹300 per subject

    • Nepal: ₹1,000 per subject

    • Outside India: ₹2,000 per subject

    • Late Fee: An additional ₹2,000 if applying after June 17, 2025

  1. Submit and Save Confirmation:
    After submission, download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

Note: The registration window is open from May 30 to June 17, 2025. Late applications will be accepted until June 19, 2025, with an additional fee.

For Regular Candidates (Class 10 & 12)

  1. Contact Your School:
    Inform your school about your intent to appear for the supplementary exam.

  2. School Submits Application:
    The school will submit the List of Candidates (LOC) through the Pariksha Sangam portal on the CBSE website.

  3. Provide Necessary Documents:
    Submit any required documents and fees to your school as instructed.

  4. Collect Admit Card:
    Admit cards will be distributed by the school in the first week of July 2025.

Who can take the CBSE Supplementary Exams 2025?

The CBSE Supplementary Exams 2025 are meant for students who did not pass in one or two subjects in the main board exams. Class 10 students can appear for up to two subjects, while Class 12 students are allowed to appear for one subject. 

Additionally, students who passed but wish to improve their performance in one subject (Class 12) or up to two subjects (Class 10) can also apply. These exams offer a second chance without waiting an entire year.
