Candidates equivalent to five times the total number of vacancies will be invited to take the Mains written test. The details of the main exam will be revealed separately. The preliminary test will have objective type multiple choice questions. It will assess candidates in General Studies, General Science and Mathematics, and Comprehension/Logic/Reasoning/Mental Ability. The exam will last 2 hours 15 minutes. It will serve as a screening test to select applicants for the main examination.
The main test will consist of two papers: General Hindi and General Knowledge. Both papers will comprise 100 objective-type questions that must be completed in 2 hours and 15 minutes. The paper will examine the candidate's abilities and knowledge. Only applicants who pass the main exam will advance to the next level.
During this step, candidates will be checked on their typing speed and accuracy for ten minutes. To progress to the next round, they must accurately type 300 Hindi words. Only individuals who pass this competence test will be selected for the position of Lower Division Clerk in the organisation.
