Introduction

Childhood memories are complicated because it's difficult to tell if you really remember something or if you only believe you do because someone else told you about it or you saw a picture of it. I'm going to share a memory with you that I'm positive is real.

What is it?

This is the first memory of my sister and me. She promised me one day that she would teach me how to ride a bike. We both began riding bicycles that evening as expected, and after a few hours, I gained some knowledge about the sport. I'm not sure when she left by herself, I assumed she was going to accompany me. A dog unexpectedly crossed in front of my bicycle, and I lost control out of fear, falling into the thorn bush.

When did it happen?

I believe I'm in the third grade, but I'm not positive. My father gave us a bicycle for our midterm break. I have no idea how to ride a bike. I wanted to learn how to ride a bicycle because of the adrenaline rush.

How has it affected your life?

I'm not sure how it changed my life. I am currently in college, but I am still afraid of dogs and other pets at home. I also don't ride a bike. I had numerous opportunities to practice riding a bicycle, but I stayed away from it due to my anxieties.

Explain why you still remember it.

My left hand still carried the scar from the injury. I can claim that it was the only wound scar I have left to this day, every time I saw it, the incident came into my mind.

Conclusion

I often look back on that day with happiness and sweet sadness. The most unforgettable day, full of both happiness and sadness, was the day I learned how to ride a bicycle.

What is it?

We worship Lord Perumal at Tirupati once a year as part of our tradition. We are all aware that Tirupati is one of India's most renowned temples, and many thousands of people visit it daily. We had planned to go there as usual, but I missed the store where we usually buy toys around that time.

When did it happen?

That incident occurred when I was twelve years old, and I still remember it. We waited in line for a long time to worship Lord Perumal in the early morning. My father remarked, "I brought you toys after we worshipped the Lord." He led me to the store, as he had stated. Numerous stores that are comparable to one another can be seen there.

How has it affected your life?

It was the first and last time I refused to let go of my parents' hand while we went anywhere. I would depart as soon as I returned home after holding their hands.

Explain why you still remember it.

They continue to make fun of me for that incident, whenever we decide to travel anywhere, they start teasing me like, "We'll tie you in our hand, then only you won't go anywhere."

Conclusion

I am thankful to have had such a happy and carefree childhood, and my childhood memories are generally full of laughter and joy. Also Check:

A follow-up question session lasting 4 to 5 minutes will be presented to the students in part three of the IELTS speaking exam . We've included a few follow-up questions about the "Describe your childhood memory" topic. It can help you achieve high exam scores for your major.

Q 1 - Why is childhood important?

Ans - Childhood is the most innocent and happy time in a person's life, free from worries, tension, and immorality. Play and having fun are the two things that are important to all carefree children.

Q2 - What was your childhood like?

Ans - The majority of my childhood was spent playing, and then time spent with family and friends. I used to hang out with a lot of my friends on our neighborhood street, playing games like hide-and-seek. I spent the majority of my time at home painting, dancing, and drawing.

Q3 - Who was your childhood idol? Did you want to be like him or her?

Ans - I considered Jason to be my childhood idol. If my memory serves me correctly, the main character in the television series "Power Rangers" is the captain of the first Power Rangers team to appear on the screen and is referred to as the first-on-screen Red Ranger, not the original from the first season of the series, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Q4 - What are the differences between childhood today and childhood in the past?

Ans - Children have just as many opportunities as I did to experience the world first. My only task as a child was to attend school, play with my friends, and complete my homework. Children today have more possibilities to study new things and are more knowledgeable than I was when I was a child.
