How IELTS Speaking Part 3 Works

The IELTS Speaking Part 3 consists of questions on broad subjects that are based on the Part 2 topic cards. Part 3 may include a question regarding "technology and its social impact," while Speaking Part 2 would focus on "your favorite phone app." The examiner will ask questions during this four to five-minute section of the exam that will allow students to analyze problems, state and support their viewpoints, and provide answers. The examiner expects a natural and clear answer. Students have to answer right away because there won't be any time for planning. The answer should include at least four sentences that show a variety of vocabulary, grammatical accuracy, and a clear voice. The IELTS Speaking Part 3 gives students one last opportunity to show their language proficiency. The performance on the Speaking exam and the IELTS Exam itself may go bad if students are not prepared for this type of question.

IELTS Speaking Part 3 Tips

Below are some of the significant IELTS Speaking Part 3 tips for international students to improve their overall IELTS band score in the test.
