What is IELTS Life Skills : Speaking and listening skills are examined using the IELTS Life Skills, which is available at CEFR Level A1 and CEFR Level B1. Level A1 of the IELTS Life Skills takes 16–18 minutes, while Level B1 takes 22 minutes.
Students' speaking and listening skills are tested equally. They take the exam with an Examiner and another student. This one session will be used to test their speaking and listening skills. IELTS Life Skills Key facts
The UK government has authorized a new version of the Secure English Language Test (SELT) called IELTS Life Skills. Those who want to prove they can speak and listen in English well enough to get the required visa can take this exam. The Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) levels A1 and B1 will be used to test student's abilities. Students are free to repeat the IELTS Life Skills exam as many times as they would like.
