UGC NET Hindi Exam 2024: The UGC NET Hindi Exam 2024 is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The exam is held twice a year, in June and December. The UGC NET 2024 is scheduled to be held from August 21 to September 4, 2024.
The UGC NET Hindi examination will consist of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, which will be conducted in CBT-based mode. UGC NET Hindi Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the UGC NET Hindi Exam 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:-
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have completed postgraduate studies in Hindi from a UGC-recognized college/university.
- General category candidates should have an aggregate of 55%, while SC, ST, OBC candidates must have a 50% aggregate.
- Candidates appearing in or awaiting the result of the PG Degree must complete their degree within 2 years from the date of the NET examination.

Age Limit:
- For JRF, the maximum age limit is 30 years as of 1st June 2024, with relaxation available for certain categories.
- There is no upper age limit for Assistant Professors at UGC-NET.
- There is no upper age limit in applying for UGC-NET for Admission to PhD.

- Relaxations in age limit are provided to candidates belonging to OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, women applicants, and those with research experience or specific degrees.
