1. For B.Des (Bachelor of Design)

• Must have passed 10+2 (Class 12) from a recognized board in any stream.
• Alternatively, a pass grade in the Senior Secondary Examination conducted by the National Open School with at least five subjects is accepted. 
• Candidates with a 3 or 4-year diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education are also eligible. 
• The upper age limit is 24 years as of 1 August 2025, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwD candidates. 
• Any public school/board/university examination in India or abroad recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 system is accepted.
• Admission is through the NIFT Entrance Exam (GAT and CAT), followed by a situation test. 

2. For B.FTech (Bachelor of Fashion Technology)

• Must have passed 10+2 (Class 12) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized board.
• Alternatively, a 3 or 4-year diploma in any branch of engineering recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education is accepted.
• Admission is through the NIFT Entrance Exam (GAT only). 
• No situation test is required for B.FTech.
