When will NIFT 2025 Second Round be Conducted: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam dates and schedule for the NIFT 2025 second round. For UG programs, the NIFT second round comprises of NIFT Situation test and Personal Interview, which will be held on 8 June 2025. NIFT Personal Interview Round for PG aspirants is scheduled for 26 May 2025. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the admit card for the NIFT Situation Test on 2 June 2025 on the official website at www.nift.ac.in. The city intimation slip was announced on 24 May 2025. Candidates must note that the city intimation slip only provides the names of the examination venue to facilitate travel ease. The details regarding the exam center, reporting time, date of examination, etc, are all given in the admit card.

What is NIFT 2025 Second Round?

For BDes aspirants, the NIFT 2025 second round includes the Situation Test. It evaluates candidates based on their material handling, creativity, and problem-solving skills through hands-on model-making tasks. For MDes candidates. NIFT's second round comprises a Personal Interview, where their aptitude and suitability for advanced design studies are tested. Only candidates who clear the first round and are shortlisted are eligible to participate in the NIFT 2025 Second Round. 

NIFT 2025 Second Round Exam Date & Timings

The NIFT 2025 Second Round is an offline, hands-on assessment stage following the GAT and CAT written exams. The NIFT 2025 Second Round, comprising NIFT Situation Test and Personal Interview, is scheduled for 8 June 2025, for B.Des, B.Des (NLEA), and B.Des (Artisans).  The timings for the Situation Test and Studio Test are from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, while Personal Interviews for relevant programmes will begin from 2:00 PM onwards. Personal Interviews for PG programs such as M.Des, MFM, MFTech, will start from May 26, 2025, in Delhi and continue for 8–10 days. NIFT 2025 Second Round Intimation Slip is an important document as it provides candidates with advance information about their allotted exam city for the Situation Test or Personal Interview. NTA released the intimation slip on 24 May 2025 on its official website. Candidates can download it using their application number and date of birth. NIFT 2025 Second Round intimation slip helps candidates to plan their travel and logistics ahead of the second round exam. Candidates must note that the intimation slip is not the admit card. The official admit card for the second round will be released separately.
