GMAT 2024 Exam: The GMAT 2024 exam lasts around 3 hours and 7 minutes for the regular version and 2 hours and 15 minutes for the GMAT Focus Edition. How long is the GMAT 2024 Exam Time?
The GMAT 2024 exam lasts for a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes. During this time, candidates will go through three sections: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Data Insights, each with a specific number of questions and time limits. - Verbal Reasoning (65 minutes)
GMAT Online Exam
In addition to the test center format, the GMAT will also be offered online in 2024. This GMAT Focus Edition has a significantly shorter total duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes. The sections and their durations are:- Analytical Writing Assessment (30 minutes)
- Data Insights (45 minutes)
- Quantitative Reasoning (45 minutes)
- Verbal Reasoning (45 minutes)
The GMAT Focus Edition does not include the Integrated Reasoning section and has reduced time for the Quantitative and Verbal sections compared to the test center format. Both the GMAT test center and online exams allow candidates to choose the order of the Quantitative, Verbal, and Data Insights sections in the first minute of the exam. That means, while the traditional in-person GMAT will remain available in 2024 with a duration of 3 hours and 7 minutes, the new GMAT Focus Edition offered online will be significantly shorter at 2 hours and 15 minutes total.
