How to Calculate Total Marks?

Just adding up your subject marks gives you the basic total. However, grasping the various parts and details involved can give you a fuller picture of your score.

Subject Wise Breakdown

Each subject in COEP JEE Mains has a dedicated section on your scorecard with further details:

Right Answers: Number of questions answered correctly.
Wrong Answers: Number of questions tried but not correct.
Not Tried: Number of questions not attempted.
Minus Marks: Deductions for wrong responses (usually 1 mark per wrong answer in Physics and Chemistry, 0.5 mark in Mathematics).

Total Marks vs. Scaled Score

Making individual subject scores comparable: Scores are changed to a shared scale with a set average and standard deviation.
