GMAT Focus Edition Exam Eligibility Criteria: The GMAT Focus Edition, introduced by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) in 2024, is a revised version of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). This new exam aims to assess critical reasoning skills, problem-solving abilities, data sufficiency, and logical analysis in aspiring business leaders. To be eligible for the GMAT Focus Edition 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria.

The GMAT Focus Edition consists of three sections: quantitative reasoning (21 questions), verbal reasoning (23 questions), and the new data insights section (20 questions). The total score ranges from 205 to 805 and is based on the verbal and quantitative scores. Note: Candidates must register for the GMAT Focus Edition through the official website, providing personal information, a digital photograph, signature, and government-issued identification. In 2023, the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) introduced the GMAT Focus Edition, which aims to assess critical reasoning skills, problem-solving abilities, data sufficiency, and logical analysis in aspiring business leaders.
Age Requirement
To be eligible for the GMAT Focus Edition exam in 2024, candidates must be at least 18 years old. If an applicant is between 13 and 17 years old, they must provide written approval from a parent or guardian. There is no upper age limit for taking the GMAT exam.Educational Qualification
Anyone with a bachelor's degree from a recognized institute is eligible to take the GMAT Focus Edition exam. There is no minimum or maximum academic qualification limit for test-takers. Many examinees are either students in their pre-final or final year of college or working professionals.Nationality and background
The GMAT Focus Edition is open to candidates from around the world. There is no discrimination based on religion, sex, background history, educational qualifications, etc. However, aspirants must fulfill the basic GMAT eligibility criteria.
Number of Attempts
Candidates can take the GMAT Focus Edition exam up to five times in a 12-month period, with a 16-day gap between each re-attempt. The maximum number of attempts allowed in a lifetime is eight. If a candidate scores a perfect 800 on the GMAT, they must wait for five years before retaking the test, as that is the maximum score on the scale. Additionally, they need to restart their GMAT registration every time they take a fresh attempt.Registration Process

Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The GMAT Focus Edition exam consists of three sections:- Quantitative Reasoning (45 minutes, 21 questions, score range 60–90)
- Verbal Reasoning (45 minutes, 23 questions, score range 60–90)
- Data Insights (45 minutes, 20 questions, score range 60–90)
- Arithmetic: ratio and proportion, percentages, integers, sets, profit and loss, discounts, etc.
- Algebra: Equations, Exponents, Inequalities, Functions, Absolute Value, Solving Equations
- Reading comprehension and critical reasoning
- Multi-Source Reasoning, Table Analysis, Graphics Interpretation, and Two-Part Analysis
GMAT Focus Edition 2024 Exam Dates
The GMAT Focus Edition exam is available throughout the year. The available dates for February 2024 are 8, 11, 15, 16, and 20. Candidates can choose a date that suits them best and wait for 16 days if they need to retake the exam.GMAT 2024 Admission Process
