The Larynx, positioned atop the trachea within the Laryngopharynx, is an organ composed of cartilage. Internally, it is lined with Ciliated Columnar Epithelium. It consists of four cartilages with specific functions:

1. Thyroid Cartilage (1): This cartilage supports the front, upper, and lower portions of the Larynx.
2. Cricoid Cartilage (1): A ring-like structure, the cricoid cartilage supports the lower part of the Larynx.
3. Arytenoid Cartilages (2): Triangular, the arytenoid cartilages offer support to the posterior part of the Larynx.

The Larynx serves three primary functions in the body:
