Renewable resources are naturally replenishable over time and do not deplete upon usage. Examples include sunlight, water, wind, and trees, which can be harnessed for power generation, heating homes, and providing food and building materials. The sustainability of renewable resources is a notable benefit, allowing repeated use without exhaustion and minimizing environmental impact by avoiding pollution, making them a cleaner alternative to non-renewable resources. Sunlight and wind are essential renewable resources. Plants utilize sunlight for photosynthesis, while wind sustains life by aiding photosynthesis in plants and animal respiration. Non-renewable Resources

Non-renewable resources are natural assets with a finite supply that cannot be replenished quickly. Examples include metals, rocks, minerals, and fossil fuels. These resources are crucial for generating electricity and powering vehicles but also cause air pollution and environmental problems. Non-renewable resources are finite, leading to eventual depletion, higher costs, and accessibility issues. Coal, natural gas, and petroleum are examples of fossil fuels which are nonrenewable energy sources. 
Coal is used in power generation and industrial processes. Natural gas, an alternative to traditional fuels, burns quickly, producing significant heat and acting as a hydrogen source. Petrol, diesel, cooking gas, and kerosene are all made from petroleum, also known as crude oil.  Nuclear energy, another non-renewable source, involves harnessing the power of radioactive materials like uranium.
This material is utilized in nuclear reactor fuel rods, where the heat generated from neutron collisions is converted into electricity through steam produced by water interacting with turbines. While non-renewable resources meet current energy needs, their depletion raises environmental concerns and emphasizes the urgency for sustainable alternatives to ensure a stable energy future.
