OISF Constable Recruitment 2025: The Odisha Industrial Security Force (OISF) is going to announce 6,000+ constable vacancies through the Odisha Police State Selection Board (OPSSB), marking its first major recruitment drive in nine years. The Odisha Industrial Security Force (OISF) is going to announce 6,000 constable vacancies under the Odisha Police State Selection Board (OPSSB), offering a Level-5 salary (₹21,700–69,100) with allowances. The recruitment includes a revamped selection process featuring online exams, physical tests, and strict eligibility criteria like Odia language proficiency. 1. Authority Shift

Managed by OPSSB instead of previous recruitment bodies.

2. Age Relaxation

• SC,ST,SEBC,Women: Maximum age extended to 28 years (5-year relaxation).

• Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per state norms.

3. Physical Standards

• Male (UR,SEBC): Height reduced to 168 cm; Female: 158 cm.

• SC,ST: Height lowered to 163 cm (male) and 153 cm (female).

• Weight: Adjusted for all categories (e.g., UR males: 55 kg; females: 47.5 kg).

4. Exam Pattern

• Mode: Shifted to online (CBRE) from OMR-based tests.

• New Sections: Added Situational Awareness and Basic Computer Knowledge.

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer

Educational Qualification

• Class 10th Pass from a recognized board.

• Odia Language: Must have studied Odia in Class 10 or equivalent.

Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 years

• Maximum: 23 years (general); 28 years for reserved categories.

Additional Requirements

• Employment Exchange Registration: Mandatory for Odisha residents.

• Marital Status: No more than one living spouse if married.

• Duration: 120 minutes

• Total Marks: 100

• Type: Online (CBRE) with MCQs.

• Odia,English: Grammar, comprehension, vocabulary.

• Arithmetic: Profit,Loss, percentages, averages.

• General Knowledge: Odisha history, current affairs, geography.

1. Written Exam: Qualifying threshold (minimum 35% for UR; 33% for reserved categories).

2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Height,weight verification.

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• Male: 1.6 km run in 6:30 minutes; jumps (1.22 m high, 3.66 m long).

• Female: 1.6 km run in 8:30 minutes; jumps (0.90 m high, 2.75 m long).

4. Document Verification: Odia language proof, caste certificates.

5. Medical Examination: Vision, hearing, and overall fitness.
