How much time should I spend on Task 2?

You should spend about 40 minutes on Writing Task 2. Do not spend too much time on Task 2 to complete all the test questions on time.

How is IELTS Writing Task 2 scored?

The IELTS Writing task 2 is scored based on four criteria: Task Response, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy.

What is the word limit for Writing Task 2?

The word limit for Writing Task 2 is at least 250 words. Do not include more words than the given limitation. Too many or too less words can reduce your IELTS score.
