IELTS Speaking Part 1 includes a brief discussion between the examiner and the applicant. You'll be asked several questions about common topics. You must express your thoughts or experiences. The following are Public Transport IELTS Speaking Part 1 Sample Answers given below:

Question 1 - Which mode of transportation is your favorite? Why?

Answer - Without a question, I would choose motorcycles. Motorbikes can be seen everywhere in my country. Almost everyone rides a motorcycle. A motorcycle's popularity comes from its low cost and convenience. They are also incredibly diverse in terms of size, color, and quality, providing a wide range of options for everyone.

Question 2 - How frequently do you travel on buses?

Answer - Nearly every day. Because my house is so far from my university, I cannot travel by motorcycle. Furthermore, vehicle exhaust damages the air, and traffic jams occur regularly, particularly during peak hours. As a result, I'd rather ride the bus to save time and fuel and reduce pollution.

Question 3 - Is it possible to compare the benefits of railroads and airplanes?

Answer - Planes and trains frequently depart and arrive on time. Furthermore, there are other easy accessibility options dedicated to specific categories of passengers. However, traveling by airline is more time-saving and delightful in terms of facilities such as food and comfortable seats, whereas traveling by train allows you to see the world outside and enjoy the views from your seats.

Question 4 - On an average day, how much time do you spend traveling?

Answer—I travel from my home to my company every day. It usually takes me 30 minutes to drive between locations.

Question 5 - In the future, would you commute to work by bicycle?

Answer - Riding a bike involves exposing yourself to uncertain climate and air pollution. What's worse, I'm worried, are the main streets or highways, which are unsafe for cyclists because vehicles, motorcycles, and buses travel at fast speeds. As a result, I would like to ride a motorcycle or take the bus instead.
