The students who participate in the centralised counselling process run by JoSAA and achieve scores greater than or equal to the JEE Mains cut-off marks as well as a minimum of 75% in their Class 12 board exams (65% for candidates in the Reserved Category) will be deemed qualified for admission to NIT through JEE Main.

Importance of Class 12 grades in determining JEE Main cutoff 2022: Starting in 2017, Class 12 marks were not taken into consideration for determining the JEE Main cutoff scores.
