Guideline to Follow at IIT JAM Exam Centres 2026

Candidates who are going to appear in IIT JAM 2026 must consider the following points to follow the guidelines on the exam day:

  • Candidates should reach the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the reporting time to complete the formalities in a hassle-free manner.

  • Candidates must verify their exam city and centre address in advance from the admit card.

  • If feasible, try to check out the exam centre a day in advance to prevent any last-minute hassle. It will help prevent losing precious time, just in case a candidate reaches the wrong destination.

  • Applicants should ensure they bring all required documents and refrain from carrying any restricted items to the examination venue.

Documents to Carry at IIT JAM Exam Centres 2026

  • The Admit Card is downloaded after it is downloaded from the IIT JAM 2026 portal. 

  • Valid and original Photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.)
