NTET Age Limit
National Teacher Eligibility Test has no upper age restriction for students taking the test however , applicants must be at least 21 years old. This is true for applicants who want to work as assistant professors or who have a PhD and a Master's degree in health-related fields. There is no upper age limit for people taking the NTET.

| 4 | Candidates seeking to enter the teaching profession for the first time as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the Indian System of Medicine must meet the age and qualifications criteria outlined in the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine regulations (2022). |
| 5 | Candidates with a Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery degree and a Master of Science in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, or Master of Public Health from a recognised institute are eligible to apply for the Assistant Professor position. |

NTET Eligibility Qualifying Percentage
Candidates who passed the National Teachers' Eligibility Test for the Indian System of Medicine/Homoeopathy with at least fifty percent (50%) are considered qualified. This is applicable to both the written test and the total NTET. The applicant will be considered eligible for the NTET if they are able to pass with this minimum score.
