The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear a significant plea regarding the transparency of NEET PG results on October 4. Petitioners have raised issues about the normalization process and alleged discrepancies in the results, demanding greater clarity in the result declaration, including the release of answer keys and evaluation methods. Chief Justice DY Chandrachud expressed concerns over last-minute changes to the exam pattern, questioning how such modifications could be made just days before the exam. The NBE's counsel defended the changes, but the CJI emphasized their unusual nature. Following the NEET PG 2024 exam on August 11 and the results on August 23, nineteen students filed the petition citing transparency issues. Meanwhile, NEET PG 2024 counseling Round 1 registration commenced on September 20, with the schedule yet to be confirmed. Candidates are encouraged to monitor the official MCC website for updates.

NBEMS has used the normalization process, that AIIMS Delhi follow to calculate their scores for their entrance exams. Since the NEET PG is held in two shifts, toppers in each shift gets 100 percentile and marks secured were converted into percentile up to 7 decimals.
