SSC JE Online Application

With the publication of the SSC JE 2022 official announcement, the online application procedure for the test has begun. Candidates should stay in contact for frequent updates.

Interested applicants may visit the SSC Online Application website for further information on other exams.

According to the SSC Junior Engineer announcement issued in August 2022, the online application procedure began on August 12th, 2022 and will be open through September 02, 2022. (until 5.00 P.M.).

Candidates interested in applying for the forthcoming Junior Engineer test may follow the steps below to complete the online application form, which is divided into two parts:

  • Online Application Form

SSC JE Application Fee: 

Candidates who want to take the SSC JE test must submit an application fee of Rs 100/- (one hundred only) using any of the following payment methods: SBI Challan/Net Banking, BHIM UPI, Credit or Debit cards, etc. It is worth noting, however, that women candidates, candidates from SC/ST, persons with disabilities (PwD), and ex-servicemen are eligible for reservation and are free from fee payment.

Exam Pattern for SSC JE

SSC Junior Engineer exam pattern is split into two exams, SSC JE Paper-I (Computer-based Test) and SSC JE Paper-II (Written Test). Each paper lasts two hours. The following papers are described in detail:

Candidates should be aware that in Paper-I of the SSC JE, there is a negative marking of 0.25 points for each erroneous answer. In Paper-II, they are only authorised to use their own Calculator, Slide-Rule, Logarithm Tables, and Steam Table.

SSC JE Syllabus 2023

The SSC JE 2023 curriculum includes mostly two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. SSC JE Paper-I has objective-type questions, whilst SSC JE Paper-II contains descriptive-type questions.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC JE

Candidates must be within the following age range as of January 1, 2022:

Before filling out the SSC JE Application Form, candidates taking the SSC JE test 2022 should review the complete SSC JE Eligibility Criteria and the fundamental criteria.

  1. A candidate must have some more important requirements before applying for this position: 1. Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have the necessary educational qualifications for the positions related to their degree. They must have completed the Matriculation test or have earned an equivalent degree from a recognised Board.
  2. Nationality: Candidates who are nationals of the countries listed below are also qualified to sit the test, according to the SSC Junior Engineer 2022. Notification:
  • An Indian national
  • Nepalese topic
  • Bhutan is a country.
  • A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, to stay permanently in India.
  • A person of Indian heritage who has moved to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African nations of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam to stay permanently.

Admit Card for SSC JE

The Commission issues the SSC JE Admit Card to conduct the SSC Junior Engineer Exam. SSC Junior Engineer Admit Card may be downloaded through the official or SSC Regional websites.

  1. Applicants sitting the SSC JE Exam in 2022 may get the SSC JE Admit Card through the SSC official website.
  2. On the designated test day, they must bring the SSC JE Exam to admit card and a Passport-size picture to the examination centre.
  3. They must click the SSC JE Admit Card link and provide the required credentials such as Registration Number and Date of Birth to download the SSC Junior Engineer 2022 Admit Card from the appropriate homepage (DOB). Applicants should maintain a copy of the paper for future reference.

The Commission announced the SSC JE 2020 Admit Card for Paper I on March 12th.

Cut off for SSC JE

The Staff Selection Commission determines the SSC JE cut-off (SSC). The SSC will release the cut-off / Merit list for the SSC JE Exam along with the results on the SSC official website.

Aspirants could examine the SSC Cut Off of different tests to understand the pattern; this will aid in strategising a better preparation strategy.

The SSC publishes separate cut-off marks for Paper-I and Paper II. Because the result for SSC JE Paper II has not yet been declared, the SSC JE Cut-Off for Paper II will be supplied once it is. Those who took JE 2020 Paper I on March 22, 2021.

SSC JE Result

SSC normally releases the SSC JE result on the SSC official website (ssc.nic.in).

  • The SSC JE 2020 Paper-II will be held on September 26th, 2021. The findings would be released shortly.
  • On June 30th, 2021, the Staff Selection Commission published the SSC JE 2020 Paper I results. Candidates may see the complete SSC Junior Engineer Result 2020 on the linked website.
  • On the 27th of January 2022, the commission issued the SSC JE 2019 Final Result on the official website.
  • SSC JE 2019 Paper II results were declared on November 23, 2021.
