UGC NET Sanskrit Exam 2024 Eligibility

To qualify for the UGC NET Sanskrit Exam 2024, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • Candidates should have completed postgraduate studies in Sanskrit from a college or university recognized by the UGC.
  • For General Category candidates, a minimum aggregate of 55% in their Master’s degree is required, while SC, ST, and OBC candidates need a 50% aggregate.
  • Candidates awaiting their postgraduate results must finish their degree within 2 years from the date of the NET examination and provide the necessary percentage. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
  • PhD holders whose master’s degree was completed by September 19, 1991, are eligible for a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks.
