KTET Recruitment online applications are available from 3 July to 10 July. The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2025 is conducted in four categories, each designed for different teaching levels. The exam pattern is structured to assess candidates’ subject knowledge, teaching aptitude, and pedagogical skills.

KTET Exam Schedule 2025

KTET 2025 exam is scheduled for 23 and 24 August 2025. On 23 August, exams for Category I (Lower Primary) and Category II (Upper Primary) will be conducted, while Category III (High School) and Category IV (Language and Specialist Teachers) will be held on 24 August. Each day features two shifts: morning (10:00 am – 12:30 pm) and afternoon (2:00 pm – 4:30 pm). The exam will be conducted offline (pen and paper mode). KTET Exam Shifts and Timing 

Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2025 will be conducted over two days—August 23 and 24, 2025—with each day featuring two exam shifts. The morning shift runs from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon shift is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. On August 23, Category I (Lower Primary) and Category II (Upper Primary) exams will be held in the morning and afternoon shifts, respectively. On August 24, Category III (High School) and Category IV (Language, Specialist, and Physical Education Teachers) will follow the same shift pattern. Each paper lasts 2.5 hours, and candidates are advised to arrive early for verification and seating arrangements.

KTET Exam Day Instructions

Candidates appearing for the KTET 2025 must carefully follow all exam day instructions to ensure a smooth and fair process. It is mandatory to carry the printed admit card along with a valid photo ID such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or voter ID, as entry will not be permitted without these documents. Candidates should reach the exam center at least 30 to 45 minutes before the reporting time; Paper I is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and Paper II from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. 

The exam is conducted in offline mode, so candidates must bring their own blue or black ballpoint pen, while calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited. A simple dress code is advised, avoiding accessories like jewelry, watches, or belts that might be restricted. 

Candidates should listen carefully to the invigilators’ instructions, fill in their details on the answer sheet correctly, and not open the question booklet until instructed. The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark, with no negative marking for wrong answers. Maintaining silence and discipline inside the hall is crucial, as any form of malpractice can result in disqualification, and candidates are not allowed to leave the hall before the exam duration of 2.5 hours is over.
