Understanding the syllabus

It's crucial to have a solid understanding of the syllabus before starting the exam preparation. This entails reviewing the exam format, the subjects covered, and the points assigned to each section.

Finding the topical weight

After a firm grasp of the syllabus, it is crucial to find the topical weight. This entails reviewing the previous year's question papers to determine the more frequently asked subjects.

Topic division

It's important to separate the topics into two groups, high priority and low priority, after determining their weight. High-priority topics are frequently asked and carry more marks, whereas low-priority topics are those that are less frequently asked and have fewer marks.

Making a study plan

You can make a study plan that concentrates more on high-priority topics based on separating topics into high and low priority. By doing this, you can devote more time and attention to studying the more important subjects and have a better probability of coming up in the exam.

Revision

A crucial component of exam preparation is revision. It entails reviewing the material you've already studied to ensure you comprehend it and retain the knowledge. To further explain the significance of revision, consider the following points:

Information retention

Revision aids in memory of previously learnt material. It enables you to revisit the ideas and ideas that you have already covered, which aids in your memory.

Enhancing memory

Revision helps you remember the knowledge better. By going through the material again, you are solidifying the ideas in your head and making it simpler to recollect them later.

Finding gaps

Reviewing your work will help you locate any understanding gaps. It's possible that you won't fully understand some concepts until you go through the topics again. You can then get your questions answered and any understanding gaps filled.

Increasing confidence

You can increase your confidence through revising and discussing it with other candidate. Reviewing the material lowers worry and increases confidence when you get more familiar with the ideas.

Information condensing

Taking brief notes might help you organise and organise enormous volumes of information into a more comprehensible style. This makes it quick and simple for you to review the important concepts and ideas.
