PBOR

The full form of PBOR is Personnel Below Officer rank. These personnels, who are kept under the officer profile are the soldiers that participate in combat and technical service. Generally, the eligibility for getting an appointment as a PBOR is qualifying class 12th from a recognised board with passing marks. With that, the age limit is going to be 17 ½ - 21 years for all the categories.

As per the new rules, recruitment will be made based on the guidelines under the Agnipath scheme. Earlier, the tenure of PBOR was between 17 to 30 years. However, the implementation of Agnipath has reduced this tenure to 4 years. Here you can check more about the details associated with the PBOR full form.
