IBSAT Exam: IBS Aptitude Test (IBSAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (a deemed-to-be university) for admission to MBA and PGPM programs. This computer-based test (CBT) is typically held over a two-day period in December and consists of multiple-choice questions designed to assess a candidate’s aptitude in key areas relevant to management studies. The duration of the exam is two hours, and it is delivered entirely online.
IBSAT scores are accepted by nine ICFAI Business Schools located across India, including IBS Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Dehradun. Candidates who qualify in the exam must first attend a selection briefing session. This is followed by the final selection process, which involves a Micro Presentation and a Personal Interview (PI). The comprehensive evaluation process is designed to assess a candidate’s communication skills, subject knowledge, and overall suitability for management education.
