CBSE Class 9 Syllabus

 

According to CBSE board now the pattern of class 9 School will be followed according to which  80 Marks allocated to final exam of class 9 which is conducted by school itself also known as Annual Examination. Schools will conduct Class-9 Examination which will be of 80 marks and it covers full CBSE Class 9 syllabus.

To pass Class 9, Students has to secure minimum 33 percent marks out of 80 marks in each subject. Marks and Grades both will be awarded for Individual subjects. 20 Marks Internal Assessment which will be given based on test conducted by the school . Students have to secure 33 percent marks out of overall 20 marks earmarked in each subject. Internal assessment test consists of Periodic Test:3 Periodic Written Tests are to be conducted in each subject of maths , science, Hindi, English, SST in an Academic Year. Each periodic exam will carry 10 marks. Average of the best two tests to be taken for final marks submission. 3 Periodic Tests will help student prepare for the final Board Examination and helps school to keep a track of the students’ performance throughout the year.
