The minimum qualification for applying should be a pass in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (equivalent) examination with 45% marks. Also, a pass in the Trained Teachers Certificate or Diploma in Education (TTC/D.Ed/D.L.Ed) examination conducted by the Kerala Government Examination Board.
Or those who have passed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (equivalent) examination with 45% marks and have also passed 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education as per the NCTE Rules, 2002, or those who have passed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (equivalent) with 50% marks and have also passed 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Those who have passed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (equivalent) with 50% marks and have also passed 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education). TTC qualification and have joined the service later, can apply for Category I examination as per indication.
Those who have passed TTC. C. as per the rules prevailing before the implementation of K-TET Examination are also eligible for relaxation as per the indication
The KTET 2025 Online Form Link is now available on the official website of Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan. Candidates can begin the registration process for KTET May 2025 from April 10, 2025, until April 19, 2025. Those who meet the necessary eligibility criteria, including age limit and educational qualifications, can submit the Kerala TET Online Form before the deadline. Candidates can use the KTET May Apply Online Link to apply for either of the four categories.
The Kerala TET May 2025 Online Form is now available in online mode on the official website. Candidates are required to complete the KTET Application Form 2025 by following the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Visit the official website of KGEB
Step 2: Click on the KTET Application Form link on the homepage
Step 3: Now, complete the KTET 2025 Registration form, filling in the details as asked on the homepage
Step 4: Generate the login credentials and use the same to log in to the official portal
Step 5: Next, fill in all the details like candidate’s details, educational details, exam centre, category etc as asked
Step 6: Upload the documents on the dashboard, i.e. signature and candidate’s photograph in the prescribed format
Step 7: Finally, pay the KTET Application Fee and then save it on the dashboard for future reference
The marks of the omitted question will be added to the total marks
The total marks for the KTET 2025 is 150 marks
There will be no negative marks for K-TET
Those who have passed K-TET once will not be able to appear in the same category again.

Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan has published the KTET Syllabus 2025 for the upcoming written examination. The board has outlined the syllabus for all four categories: Category I, Category II, Category III, and Category IV. Candidates can download the Kerala TET Syllabus 2025 specific to their applied category and use it to guide their preparation for the exam. The topics included in the KTET 2025 Syllabus will be featured in the written test.
The release date for the KTET Admit Card 2025 has been officially announced by the relevant authorities. According to the notification, the KTET May 2025 Admit Card will be available on May 20, 2025. Candidates should carefully review the admit card for important details such as their name, roll number, exam center, and specific instructions related to the exam. It is essential to bring the admit card to the KTET 2025 examination, as entry will not be permitted without it.
The KTET Answer Key 2025 will be released by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan online. Candidates will need to download the KTET May 2025 Answer Key and OMR sheet to calculate their scores in the examination. Additionally, candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections against any incorrect answers marked by the board. The board will release both the provisional and final Kerala TET answer keys for all sets separately.
The Kerala TET May Result 2025 will be released after the examination is conducted. Candidates appearing for the exam have to download their scorecard to know about their marks and final qualifying status. Those who fail to score the minimum KTET cut off marks will not be considered eligible for selection. The result will consist of the candidate’s details, final qualifying status, marks scored in the examination.
The minimum marks for passing K-TET for the General Category is 60% (90 marks), SC/ST/OBC/OEC Category is 55% (82 marks) and for the PH Category is 50% (75 marks). If any question is omitted in K-TET, the marks for such questions will be given equally to all the candidates who have appeared in the T Category. Candidates who qualify for the minimum KTET May qualifying marks will be considered successful in the examination.
The KTET May Certificate 2025 will be released soon online on the official website. The certificate is typically announced after the examination is over and result is announced online. Candidates have to download their certificate with their login credentials. The KTET May certificate will enable candidates to become eligible for the Primary and Upper Primary Teachers.
