(Step 1) Preliminary Examination - The first stage is an online objective test covering English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates must qualify in this stage to proceed further.
(Step 2) Main Examination: The second stage consists of sections like General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The marks obtained in this stage are used for the final merit list.
(Step 3) Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates must demonstrate their proficiency in the opted local language of the state/UT applied for.
(Step 4) Provisional Selection: Marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination are not considered for final selection. Only the aggregate marks of the Main Examination are used to prepare the final merit list.
