GATE 2025 Information Brochure Latest Updates Overview
As per the GATE 2025 Information brochure, there are several recent updates regarding the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), as outlined below.
- GATE 2025 is being conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee commonly known as IIT Roorkee.
- The online registration for GATE 2025 will start on August 28, 2024 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The deadline for GATE Registration 2025 is September 26, 2024.
- The examination dates for GATE 2025 are scheduled for February 1, 2, 15 & 16, 2025. The examination will take place in two sessions on each of these dates, with one session in the forenoon and the other in the afternoon.
- GATE 2025 will be conducted in an online mode, i.e., in computer-based test (CBT) format.
- In GATE 2025, there will be a total of 30 test papers, and all of them will be in English. These test papers will consist entirely of objective-type questions.
- The Data Science and Artificial Intelligence with paper code DA is a newly added paper that was introduced in 2024. It is recommended to review the corresponding new combinations of two test papers that include this addition.
- Applicants appearing for the GATE 2025 have the option to appear for either one or two test papers. However, for those choosing to appear in two test papers, they must select their combinations from the provided list of combinations.
- There is no specified age limit for applicants to appear for GATE 2025.
- The GATE 2025 scorecard will retain its validity for a period of 3 years starting from the date of the result announcement.
- GATE 2025 will take place at various examination centers located in over 200 cities, ONLY in India.
