KSEEB-Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board which came into existence in 1966, has been conducting the 10th class examination of affiliated schools and conducting 12 other examinations such as Music, DD and Commerce. The headquarters of the Board is in Bangalore, with divisional offices in Belgaum, Kalaburgi and Mysore, and the Bangalore headquarters in Malleswaram, Bangalore.
Allmost 8.5 lakh children attend the 10th grade board exams conducted by KSEEB-Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board. The Director (Examinations) will take care of all matters relating to SSLC examinations .The KSEEB-Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board comprises of the Administration Division, Accounting Branch, Tender Management, Evaluation and 09 Inspection Branches for 34 Districts. The Karnataka School Standards, Evaluation and Acceptance Council is an important body of the Board. This division maintains the quality of education of primary and secondary education through annual survey works.

A.SSLC Class 10 Exams- It is Commonly known as as ‘class 10 board examinations’ in India, the SSLC is the short form for Secondary School Leaving Certificate and is often given on passing the grade 10 public exams. B.PUC Exams for Class 12 (2nd PUC)- PUC is also known as pre-university or pre-degree course also known as the intermediate course (which is known as plus two). The course is of two year’ duration and is conducted by Indian state education institutions or boards. If a student wishes to get admission into an Indian university, they have to pass the PUC, because of this it is also considered as a degree bridge course to prepare students for university education. Students are allowed admission to this course based on the marks they have obtained for their SSLC or Class 10. Therefore, before joining for graduation any Indian student is expected to have successfully completed five years of primary school, followed by five years of secondary school and two years of PUC.
