AP Board has released the revised syllabus for the tutorial year 2020-21. The board has reduced the syllabus by 30% for the class 10 exam. The Directorate of state Examinations, Andhra Pradesh advised to revise the AP (Andhra Pradesh) Board syllabus due to the shortage of your time. The classes are still suspended and it's unlikely to start out by the top of September. So, it is difficult to finish the whole syllabus before the exam, considering which it has been revised. The board also provides and prescribes the textbooks for every subject. In context to the question pattern of senior and higher secondary level exams the book prescribed by the board is believed to be best suitable. However, tons of scholars use reference books to develop better understanding of the subject.

Reading Section: There will be factual and discursive passages. In this part, the candidates are required to unravel the questions after reading the unseen passages. This is a scoring section in English then it shall be covered well.
Writing Section: It includes short compositions like Notes, Notice, Message, Short Postcard, telegrams, etc. The compositions are supported by verbal and visual stimuli, notice and newspaper cutting. These are going to be discussed in school and therefore the questions from the said topics hold around 9-12 marks.
Grammar: From the Grammar section there'll be short questions like errors and omissions, fill within the blanks, jumble words, sentence framing etc. The questions are going to be made mainly from chapters like Tenses, Present and Past forms, Simple and continuous forms, Perfect forms, Future Time reference, Active and passive etc. Apart from these chapters there'll be short questions like spot the error, fill the right preposition, active and passive change etc. There are some chapters which are a bit lengthy but important.

Extracts: Different extracts from the poems and drama texts are given and therefore the questions relevant to them are asked within the paper. Questions based on prose texts are also asked.
