Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) will be conducting TMISAT 2019 for admissions to the B.Tech maritime programmes offered by it. TMI, a maritime college was established in 1998 in Induri, Pune and offers courses which are approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS). The Marine Engineering and Nautical Science degree programmes offered by Tolani Maritime Institute are also approved by Maritime Port Authority of Singapore.
It may be noted that candidates must qualify in IMU CET 2019 before applying for TMISAT, the applications for which will start tentatively from the first week of January and will be available till May 31, 2019. Candidates can also apply for the early process of examination till April 25, wherein candidates will be required to appear for the online TMISAT 2019 exam followed by the interview by the mid-May. Applications received after April 25 till May 31 will be shortlisted on the basis of PCM marks and IMU-CET 2019 ranks and will be called for the online test in June.
TMISAT 2019 is designed to assess the candidates on their reasoning skills, solving skills, general knowledge, personality traits and more. Based on the scores secured by the candidates, merit list of TMISAT 2019 will be prepared. The shortlisted candidates of TMISAT 2019 will have to report for the counselling procedure and in order to be eligible to get the admission, the candidates have to be physically/medically fit.
