KVPY COUNSELLING-
KVPY 2019 Counselling
Candidates are first required to download their call letters which are available on the official website of KVPY
for the personal Interview and aptitude test scheduled between January-February 2020.
Candidates must bring the following documents along with them on the day of their interview:
- Application form and Interview call letter (Download from Application portal using your login credentials)
- Admit card of Aptitude test.
- Original Marks card. (10th Marks card for Stream SA/SX and 12th for Stream SB)
- Caste certificate for SC/ST candidates issued by the Competent Authority.
- Medical certificate from competent authority in case of physically and visually challenged students in the prescribed format (As per GOI)
- A Self-Appraisal form.
- Study certificate form. (to be obtained from your Principal/Head of the Institution where you are currently pursuing your studies)
- Teacher Recommendation Form. (in Sealed envelope)
IISER Counselling 2019 - Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research will conduct the counselling of IISER 2019 for all its three admission channels - KVPY, JEE and SCB. Candidates will be able to apply for IISER 2019 counselling, only if they are eligible for it. However, those who will be eligible will have to select their choices from the seven IISER institutes and B.Tech programmes offered by them. At the time of IISER counselling 2019, candidates will also have to get their documents verified. After counselling, the seat allotment lists for all IISER channels will release separately in which seats will be alloted to candidates on the basis of their rank, choice filling and number of seats available. How to participate in IISER counselling 2019?
Candidates who will qualify in KVPY, JEE Advanced 2019 exam (and secure rank as specified) and IISER aptitude test as conducted for SCB channel candidates will have separate merit lists prepared by the institute authorities. Those having their names in the merit list will be able to participate in the counselling of IISER 2019 as conducted in online mode.

KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) is the national level fellowship program in the field of Basic Sciences, which is conducted by the Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc), Bangalore. This program was established in the year 1999 and is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. Under the programme, eligible students are offered scholarships and contingency grants till pre-PhD level.
On the basis of marks scored in this aptitude test, the admission will provide to the candidates and through this content, students will be able to know the detailed information of KVPY in which includes KVPY counseling, counseling dates, and procedure of counseling, etc.
