KVPY
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana or KVPY 2019 is an objective exam scheduled to take place in November 2019. It is a scholarship program instituted by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Students can take the test in both English and Hindi. While there is no specified or official syllabus, students are tested as per their respective class/college syllabus.
KVPY 2019 exam needs to be completed in 3 hours and the number of questions vary in each section and for every stream. The candidates have to attempt all the questions in Part I and Part II for SA Stream. Those applying for SB/SX stream have to attempt any three sections in Part I and any two sections in Part II.
The exam is administered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore to identify and nurture talent and aptitude for research in the field of Science so as to ensure growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country. It offers scholarship grants and contingency grants up to the pre-Ph.D. level.
