CBSE Class 12 results 2023: Girls outperform Boys by 6.01%
According to statistics provided by the CBSE, 87.33 percent of all students this year passed the class 12 exams. 90.68% of girls passed the class 12th examinations this year, compared to 84.67% of boys, a drop representing more than 5% in the pass percentage from 92.71% of the previous year. Girls have outperformed boys by 6.01%.
CBSE to Provide Merit Certificates to Students Who Performed Well
To avoid unhealthy competition among students, CBSE has decided not to publish the merit list for the results of the CBSE class 12th board exams. The board also opted against giving out first, second, or third divisions.
Instead, the top 0.1% of students who received the best scores across all disciplines will receive merit certificates from CBSE. By making this change, CBSE hopes to motivate students to put more emphasis on their individual academic development and learning rather than rank and division-based competition.
