Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is India's national standard of education board for public and private schools. It is one of the most respected and preferred educational boards in India. It was established in 1929 by the Government of India. It lays the stage for board tests that take place in the Xth and XIIth Grade. It also provides certification for the merits of the affiliated school students. CBSE Board Class 10 Examination

CBSE Board Exam Pattern for Class 10 & 12

On 5 July 2021, CBSE issued guidelines to describe the Special Board Examination Program (Classes 10 and 12) for the 2021-22 Session. A special test program was released due to the outbreak of COVID 19 as CBSE released the learning method as a visual mode. This time the CBSE decided to simplify the syllabus. So they break the syllabus into two parts: each term covers about 50 percent of the syllabus as a whole.

Special 10th and 12th Special Examination Sc​heme 2021-22

For the 2021-22 education session the CBSE board implemented a number of 10th and 12th class schemes:

Each term will cover approximately 50% of the syllabus: The 2021-22 session syllabus will be divided into two terms using a systematic approach that includes subject specialists who look at the relationship between concepts and topics.

The 2021-22 Board Exam will be screened: The examinations will be screened in the same way. The result will be updated on the official website as usual. The results of Term I will be out by the end of January.

Terminal Examinations: As per the latest review of the Board, CBSE Term I Assessment will be conducted at the end of the first term. The examinations will be conducted on a flexible schedule between November 2021 and December 2021. The board will resume the Term II examinations after completing the second term classes. It will also be based on a balanced Term II syllabus (i.e. approximately 50% of the total syllabus). The CBSE Term II examination will be held from March 2022 to April 2022 at the Board-designated testing centers.

Questionnaire: MCQ-based questions will be included in the questionnaire, which includes case-based MCQs and immunization MCQs. The test will take 90 minutes and will include a comprehensive CBSE Term I. Syllabus will be available on the questionnaire, the test will take 2 hours and will include a refined CBSE Term II syllabus.

CBSE Board Exam Pattern for other classes

Students studying at Central Board of Secondary Education are assessed in two areas:

School: In this case the students are focused on higher education. All important subjects such as social science, science, mathematics and language studies are taught to them.

Co-scholastic: This area covers other activities such as sports, sports, arts, music, crafts etc. that are important for student development.

The year of study is divided into two terms: Term 1 and Term 2 and two types of Formal Assessment and Summary Assessment are offered for subject assessment.

Formal Assessment: In the lower grades, constructive assessment (FA) is a form of oral assessment, vocation, homework, classroom assessment, projects assignments, storytelling, fluency, memory testing, questions, etc. In the upper classes, FA tests are a type of presentations, projects, assignments etc.

Summary Assessment: Here students are assessed internally. Summary Survey (SA) is conducted at the end of each term i.e. twice a year. Tests were done in school with pen and paper.

CBSE Board Marking Scheme for grades 10 and 12

The CBSE Board marking system is issued by the Board itself and is followed by all schools affiliated with CBSE. The marking system is issued for each subject and for all languages. Promotion Criteria for CBSE Board Examination

Students will be assessed on 100 marks in each subject with 20 marks for the Internal Assessment and 80 marks for the Examination Board at the end of the year.

Internal marks will be awarded to students on the basis of practical and assignment schools.

Based on the circular, internal marks will be uploaded to affiliated schools on the CBSE portfolio.

The pass mark for the CBSE Board exams is 33% in each subject. Students who score less than 33% will not be eligible for promotion. In high school.
