TNEA 2023 examination will be conducted soon by Anna University. The concerned authorities have announced the exam date and schedule for the examination. As per that, the TNEA 2023 application form filling will commence on May 05, 2023. Candidates who possess the basic eligibility need to complete their registration to be able to appear in the exam.

TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) Exam is an State-Level exam conducted to offer admission to candidates in the Engineering and Architecture courses.

TNEA 2023 Eligibility Criteria

TNEA 2023 eligibility criteria are announced by the DoTE in the official notification. Candidates who are going to appear in the upcoming examination can check out the detailed TNEA 2023 eligibility criteria.

Age Limit

There is no age limit prescribed to write the upcoming TNEA 2023 examination. However, the candidates applying for the post of Marine Engineer should be more than 25 years of age.

Educational Qualification

  • The candidate must have completed class 12th or HSC from any recognised board. Candidates must have completed class 12th with PCM as the main subject
  • The candidates must have secured at least 45% marks from the unreserved category, 40% marks if they belong to any of the reserved categories
  • The candidates applying for marine engineering applicants should have completed class 12th with 60% marks in PCM and 50% in English

Special Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who have completed classes 8, 9, 10 11 and 12 from Tamil Nadu need not submit any nativity proof. However, those who have qualified the education from other states have to submit a nativity certificate.
  • Children or wards of Central Government Employees serving the Tamil Nadu government for the last five years have to submit the employment certificate for their parents. This is also applicable to the All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers
  • The Srilankan Tamil Refugee applicant has to submit the Identification certificate

TNEA 2023 Registration

TNEA 2023 registration has commenced from 05th May, 2023 for the eligible candidates. The candidates have to complete the registration process if they possess the basic eligibility. TNEA Application Fee

TNEA 2023 Admit Card

TNEA 2023 admit card is going to be announced on the official website of the board. Candidates registering for the examination can download their admit card from the website before the examination. It is anticipated that the TNEA admit card will be released in June 2023. Candidates have to download the same from the official website and then take its printout for future reference. The admit card is going to have details like registration number, candidate’s name, roll number, date of counselling, venue and timing of counselling etc.

TNEA 2023 Counselling

TNEA 2023 counselling is conducted after the examination process is over for all the candidates. Those whose marks and ranks in the exam are high are called to fill out the TNEA 2023 counselling form. Therein, they have to mention their roll number, subjects and other important details. Candidates have to pay the counselling fee equal to Rs 5000 if they belong to the unreserved category. For reserved category candidates, the counselling fee is Rs 1000.
