Definition
A conic section is the locus of a point traced out under the condition, that the ratio of its distance from a fixed point (called focus) to its distance from a fixed line (called directrix) is constant. The constant ratio is denoted by e and is called eccentricity of the conic section.
If e = 1 then the locus is a PARABOLA.
