Eligibility Criteria

NEE-I

The candidate must:

Qualifying exam: Have passed Class 10 or equivalent exam with Mathematics and Science separately.

Age limit: 

  • General: Be not more than 19 years of age as on July 31, 2019 (or born on or after August 1, 2000). 
  • OBC: 22 years of age as on July 31, 2019 (or born on or after August 1, 1997).
  • SC/ST/PD: 24 years of age as on July 31, 2019 (or born on or after August 1, 1995).

NEE-II (PCM)

Academic qualification- The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

Age limit: 

  • General: 23 years of age as on July 31, 2019 (or born on or after August 1, 1996). 
  • OBC: 26 years of age as on July 31, 2019 (or born on or after August 1, 1993).
  • SC/ST/PD: 28 years of age as on July 31, 2019 (or born on or after August 1, 1991).

NEE-II (Vocational)

Academic qualification - Applicants need to have passed 10+2 (Vocational) / ITI / NERIST Certificate in any one of the branches / trades, viz., [Agricultural Engineering] Farm Equipment (FE) / Food Processing (FP); [Civil Engineering] Construction Technology i.e. Draftsmanship / Surveyor (CT); [Electronics and Communications Engineering] Electronics Technology or Electronics Maintenance (ET/EM); [Electrical Engineering] Electrical Technology or Electrical Maintenance (ET/EM); [Mechanical Engineering] Mechanical Craftsmanship (MC) / Automobile Technology (AT) and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (R&AC) are eligible.

Age limit: The candidate must not be more than 23 years of age as on August 1, 2019.

NEE-II (PCB)

Academic qualification: The candidate must have passed 10+2(PCB)/ Higher Secondary (PCB) with Physics, Chemistry and

NEE-3

Academic qualification: The applicant needs to hold a 3-year diploma degree with minimum 60% aggregate marks/ CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale/ NERIST Diploma Module with a minimum of CGPA 6.0. 

Age limit: 

  • General: 40 years of age as on July 31, 2019 (or born on or after August 1, 1979). 
  • OBC: 43years of age as on July 31, 2019 (or born on or after August 1, 1976).
  • SC/ST/PD: 45 years of age as on July 31, 2019 (or born on or after August 1, 1974).

Age relaxation: OBC and female candidates are eligible for age relaxation of 3 years, while  ST/SC/PD candidates are eligible for 5 years age relaxation.

Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam may also apply, but they will have to produce original pass certificates and/or mark sheets/grade at the time of counselling.
