SBUP MBA 2023 Announcement: Apply with SBEST Scores
Sri Balaji University, Pune (SBUP) announced that students interested in applying for its MBA programme can do so with their CAT, XAT, MAT, MAH CET, and SBEST results.
The SBEST exam is SBUP's own entrance exam and is optional. It is scheduled for February 26 and 27, 2023. Moreover, students who do not have a valid CAT, XAT, MAT, or MAH CET score or wish to improve the aforementioned scores can apply for the same.
What is SBEST?
SBEST, or Sri Balaji Entrance Screening Test, is an exam held for admission into SBUP’s management programs. It is an optional test provided to candidates who do not have a valid CAT, MAT, XAT, or MAH CET score or for those who wish to improve their existing score for admission purposes.

BSUP 2023 Admission Process
- The common application form for all four SBUP institutes can be submitted online. Moreover, the application fee for the same is INR 1000.
- In case a student decides to opt for the SBEST exam, an additional fee of INR 490 will be charged.
- It is important to note, however, that the SBESTexam is not required and should only be taken if the candidate wants to improve his CAT, MAT, or XAT score or did not take the aforementioned exams.
- In addition, the subsequent admissions process includes a group discussion round, a personal interview, and a WAT. The details regarding the same will be communicated via the students’ dashboard or email.
- Additionally, only 35% weightage is given to the entrance examination when making the merit list.
BSUP 2023 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the BSUP 2023, the candidate must have the following:
- Firstly, the candidate should hold a degree from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks. Reserved category candidates require 45% aggregate marks.
- Secondly, students in their final year can also apply as long as they meet the aggregate requirement.
