UPSC EPFO Exam Pattern 2023

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) exam every year for the recruitment of candidates to the post of Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer. Interview

Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for an interview. The interview will be conducted by a panel of experts who will evaluate the candidate's personality, aptitude, and knowledge of the subject.

Marking Scheme

The total marks for the written examination will be 300, and the interview will be for 100 marks. The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the written examination and the interview. The qualifying marks for the written examination will be decided by the UPSC.

Negative Marking

There will be negative marking for incorrect answers in the General Ability Test (GAT). For each wrong answer, one-third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. Candidates can choose one subject from the following list for the Optional Subjective Paper:

The syllabus for the Optional Subjective Paper will be based on the subject chosen by the candidate.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

Candidates must obtain the minimum qualifying marks in both the written examination and the interview to be considered for selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the UPSC and may vary for different categories.
