Benefits of UPSC SCRA
Graduates are appointed as Assistant Mechanical Engineers (AME) in the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers after successfully completing the four-year Mechanical Engineering programme (IRSME). Students can quickly move up the corporate ladder to become senior administrators of Indian Railways with a direct placement as a Group A officer. In actuality, there are 42 open positions for positions offered through UPSC SCRA in 2022.

UPSC SCRA Registration

- The SCRA exam online application form has two sections, Part I and Part II.
- Fill out the online application form in accordance with the guidelines provided in the drop-down choices.
- The registration fee for general/OBC candidates is $100, and it must be paid either by bank deposit at any SBI branch or online using a Mastercard, Visa, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, or State Bank of Travancore credit or debit card.
- Candidates from SC/ST groups, women, and students with physical disabilities are not required to pay the registration fee.
