- IUCN-International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources aims at conserving nature.
- The process of movement of animals and birds in large numbers from one place to another to overcome unfavorable conditions is called migration.
- Due to the rapid decline in population of tigers across the world, the governments have started certain conservation programmers that aimed at saving tigers. The project tiger was launched on 1st April, 1973 by our government to protect the tigers of our country. About nine tiger reserves were identified such as Manas (Assam), Corbett(UP), Kanha (MP), Bandipur (Karnataka), Ranthambore (Rajasthan), Sundrbans (West Bengal).Tigers were protected in these areas with a philosophy of ‘Do nothing to interfere with nature’.
- Recycling is the process of collecting dry waste and to process them to regain materials in order to use them again.
- By recycling of paper, not only we can save trees, but also can save energy and water needed for manufacturing paper. Hence collect used paper and recycle it.
