10. Two methods of Asexual Reproduction are:

  1. Binary fission: It takes place in simple unicellular organisms like Amoeba. In this type, the nucleus splits into two nuclei followed by the division of cytoplasm and thus forming two daughter Amoebae.
  2. Budding : It takes place in Hydra, is which cells divided rapidly at a specific site and develop as an outgrowth called ‘bud’. These buds, while still attached to the parent body, develops into smaller individuals. When these individuals become mature enough they detach from the parent body & develop as an independent individual.
