Candidates can check here the complete exam pattern for appearing in AIIMS MBBS entrance exam 2019:
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through Online Computer Based Test (CBT).
- Shifts: Its written examination will be organized in two shifts (morning and afternoon).
- Exam Date: The exam will be conducted on 25th & 26th May 2019.
- Subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Biology and General Knowledge/Aptitude.
- Duration of Exam: The complete exam will be of about 3 and 1/2 hours.
- Shift: The examination will be conducted on two shifts, i.e. morning shift (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM) and afternoon shift (3:00 PM to 6:30 PM).
- Type of Questions: The questions will be comprised of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Reason-Assertion type.
- Total Questions: Total of 200 questions will be asked in the examination.
- Language of the examination: The questions paper will be asked in English as well as Hindi medium.

As you can see, there is negative marking. So be cautious while marking an answer. Do not wild guesses while marking answer in AIIMS 2019.
SCHEME OF MARKING:
• Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark.
• Each incorrect response will get a score of - ⅓ (minus-one-third).
• No credit will be given for the questions not answered or marked for review (Please see Annexure-5 on Online Examination.
Preparation of Overall Rank / Merit List
The Percentile scores for the Total Marks for both shifts as mentioned above would be merged and arranged so as to derive an overall Merit List / Ranking.
Please Note that the percentile score is not the same as percentage of marks obtained.
Language of question paper: The language of the question paper will be English or Hindi. Applicants applying for the test will be required to choose the medium of online exam as per their preference. The choice given by the candidates while filling AIIMS MBBS application form 2019 cannot be changed at any stage.
