Sphygmomanometer

It is used for measuring blood pressure along with left brachial artery which denotes both systolic and diastolic pressure, expressed in mmHg. A young healthy adult male has blood pressure of about 120/80 mmHg. as systolic / diastolic pressure Pulse pressure is the difference between systolic and diastolic pressure (i.e. 120–80 = 40 mm Hg) Clinically, abnormal high blood pressure is called hypertension and low blood pressure as hypotension
