UPSC announces results of Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination 2023

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the results of the Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination, 2023, on 3rd March 2023. The candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the UPSC's official website https://www.upsc.gov.in. The candidates who have qualified in the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2023.

UPSC advises candidates who have qualified to refer to the Rules of the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination, 2023. The candidature of the qualified candidates is provisional at all stages of the examination, subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. The Commission requires qualified candidates to appear for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2023, which the Commission will hold on 24th and 25th June 2023.

The candidates are further advised to refer to the Rules of the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination, 2023, issued by the Ministry of Mines and the Examination Notice No.02/2023‐GEOL, dated 21.09.2022 the commission has issued the document, which is available on its website. E-admit cards are to be available for download three weeks before the exam

UPSC Announces Results of Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination, 2023

The qualified candidates may download their e-admit cards from the Commission's website around three weeks before the commencement of the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2023. The marks and cut-off marks of the preliminary examination will be uploaded on the Commission's website https://upsc.gov.in after the entire process of the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination, 2023 is over.

Candidates can access a Facilitation Counter at the Union Public Service Commission. The Union Public Service Commission has a Facilitation Counter at its campus where candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/result on working days between 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in person or over Telephone Nos. 23388088, (011)‐23385271/23381125/23098543 from this counter.

The Commission informs the candidates that it will not entertain any request for a change of Centre/discipline for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2023, under any circumstances. The Commission has requested the candidates to follow the instructions and guidelines provided on the website carefully.

On February 19, 2023, the UPSC conducted the written preliminary examination for the Geo Scientist post. Candidates who qualify will be eligible to appear for the main examination, which the UPSC will conduct on June 24 and June 25, 2023.

Upon clicking the link, the website will open a new PDF file, which will display the results. Candidates can check their result in this PDF file.

It is advisable for candidates to download and keep a hard copy of the result page for future needs. This will come in handy in case there are any discrepancies or issues that need to be addressed. The selection process for the Geo Scientist post comprises a written preliminary examination and a main examination. Candidates must note the dates of the main examination and prepare thoroughly to perform well.
