Motion

Motion and Time of Class 7

Motion is one of the key topics in physics. We know everything in the universe moves with respect to some body. It may be only a small amount of movement and very slow, but movement does happen everywhere.  When an object changes its position with elapse of time in respect to a stationary object, such as a building, electric pole, etc., the object is said to be in motion.

Main types of simple motion

types of motion

There are four  types of  motion:

  • Translation motion
  • Rotation Motion
  • Oscillatory Motion
  • Random Motion
