How to find square root by PRIME FACTORISATION METHOD

Obtain the given number.

• Resolve the given number into prime factors by successive division.
• Make pairs of prime factors, such that both the factors in each pair are equal. Since the number is a perfect square, so we can make pairs.
• Take one factor from each pair.
• Find the product of factors obtained in above step which is the required square root.

e.g. (a) 420 = 2*210 = 2*2*105 = 2*2*5*21

(b) 420 = 42*10 = 6*7*5*2 = 3*2*7*5*2 = 2^2 * 3 * 5 * 7
